FOUNDATIONS
Many community and family foundations have recognized the important role an international festival can play in engaging the broader community. The Festival is a federally registered charitable organization and continues to rely on foundation partners to support year-round projects ranging from the commissioning and presentation of exciting new Canadian art, to the work Luminato's respected Education and Outreach program does collaborating with schools and community organizations within underserved neighbourhoods in Toronto. If your foundation is looking to partner with an arts organization that is making a difference in its community, please consider Luminato.
For more information, contact Brad Lepp, Manager, Public Sector & Foundations, at blepp@luminato.com.
GOVERNMENT
Support from all three levels of government is vital to the ongoing success of Luminato as one of largest multi-arts festivals in Canada and North America. Luminato is grateful for the financial and in-kind support it receives from cultural and tourism development programs through the Government of Ontario, the Government of Canada and the City of Toronto.
Luminato also works with a number of embassies and consulates to promote the cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration associated with annually presenting acclaimed international artists. These partnerships create opportunities for artists from both countries as well as promote Festival events within their respective cultural communities.
