ILLUMINATIONS The Luminato Reel
Luminato and the National Film Board of Canada present free film screenings of documentaries that follow the creation of Luminato presentations, films that inspired the festival programming, and supplementary work from Luminato artists. Each film is preceded by a National Film Board film.The commissioning of Vida y Danza Cuba was made possible by the generous support of Gretchen and Donald Ross through the Luminato SuperNova Program Development Fund.

Twelfth Night
The Channel 4 feature
film version of Tim Supple's Twelfth Night, scored by Nitin Sawhney. Preceded
by the NFB film The Stratford
Adventure.
7:30 p.m. - Vida y Danza Cuba
The world premiere of
Veronica Tennant's documentary on the making of one of the hits of last year's
festival, followed by a conversation with the filmaker.
Preceded by the NFB film Flamenco
at 5:15.
Sunday, June 8
11:00 a.m. - The Urban Elephant
A screening of the PBS
Nature documentary on the plight of elephants that inspired Sanctuary Song followed
by a chat with the creators of the play.
Preceded by NFB film Champions
of the Wild - Elephants.
2:00 p.m. - Vida y Danza Cuba
The world premiere of
Veronica Tenant's documentary on the making of one of the hits of last year's
festival. Preceded by the NFB film Flamenco at 5:15.
