2011 Luminato Festival
Join us in Toronto for the fifth Luminato Festival: June 10 – 19, 2011.
We are pleased to present the world premiere of One Thousand and One Nights, dramatised and directed by Tim Supple, with stories adapted by the seminal Lebanese novelist Hanan al-Shaykh. This piece tells the tale of one of the world's great folk story-cycles, and is to be performed and created by actors, musicians and designers drawn entirely from the Arabic-speaking world.
