Anything could happen as Michael Urie (Marc St. James on Ugly Betty) and provocative stand-up comedy star Shawn Hitchins co-host a definition-defying concert under the musical direction of Emmy Award-winning composer and producer Lance Horne.

Featured performers are Kelly and the Kelly Girls (imagine swing meets ska meets rock); Lea DeLaria, whose Play It Cool was hailed by The Times as the best jazz album of 2001; singer, songwriter, and Tony-nominated performance artist Justin Bond (described by Time Out as “a transatlantic cabaret messiah”); alternative music star and former Rough Trade vocalist Carole Pope; and Toronto-born actor Christian Campbell, best known to this crowd as Gabriel in the movie Trick.

Schedule:

7:10 PM Shawn Hitchins & Michael Urie (hosts)

7:20 PM Kelly and the Kellygirls

8:50 PM Lea DeLaria

9:20 PM Justin Bond

9:50 PM Christian Campbell

What a great night! Lea DeLaria was full of energy! And Justin Bond, just wow. Kelly and the Kelly girls were just amazing. Overall, Queer Divas night was a blast. It was my first but hopefully not my last! And for the bonus ...Michael Urie, how great is he!!!

Had a fantastic night! Lea and Justin were by far my favorites. Thank you so much for bringing such wonderfully fabulous talent to the Queer Divas night! First time going and will certainly be back next year :)
