The Canadian Songbook: 40 Years of Bruce CockburnBruce Cockburn and Special Guests
Widely acclaimed for such hits as "Wondering Where the Lions Are," "Lovers in a Dangerous Time" and "If I Had a Rocket Launcher," Bruce Cockburn is one of Canada's finest and most prolific popular musicians. A brilliant guitar virtuoso, he's also noted for the profound spirituality, the keen intelligence and wit, and the sometimes fierce political sensibility of his songs - songs that have been covered by artists as diverse as Judy Collins, Barenaked Ladies, k.d. lang and the Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia.
To mark the four decades of achievement since his debut album in 1970, Cockburn is joined on stage by Music Director and long-time collaborator Colin Linden, as well as a select group of musical friends, including Barenaked Ladies, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Buck 65, Amelia Curran, Jason Fowler, Michael Occhipinti, Sylvia Tyson, The Wailin’ Jennys and Hawksley Workman. Hosted by Jian Ghomeshi, don't miss this unique opportunity to see, hear, and celebrate a true icon of Canadian music.

Come for Bruce and stay for Jason Fowler. He's my favourite local guitarist!
