Rufus Wainwright - All Days are Nights: Songs for LuluON SALE NOW!
To coincide with Luminato's premiere production of his debut opera, Prima Donna, Rufus Wainwright makes Toronto the first stop on his North American tour for his new solo album, All Days Are Nights: Songs for Lulu.
Nominated for Juno and Genie awards when still a teenager, Wainwright has since won two Junos for Best Alternative Album and received another four nominations, including one for Songwriter of the Year in 2008. Last year, he was nominated for a Grammy for his live Judy Garland tribute album, Rufus Does Judy at Carnegie Hall. His one-night-only Toronto concert will feature songs from All Days Are Nights - a title drawn from Shakespeare's Sonnet 43 - as well as favourites from albums past.
Don't miss this exclusive opportunity to hear the latest from the amazingly versatile artist whom Elton John has called "the greatest songwriter on the planet."
Rufus Wainwright marks his sixth studio album with the Spring 2010 release of All Days Are Nights: Songs For Lulu. This is an album steeped in beauty, with hugely personal and deeply emotional songs, each channelled through Wainwright via only his fingers, voice and piano.
"Time takes a sabbatical when Rufus Wainwright sings."
