Saturday, June 12: Dark Star Requiem

Poet and librettist Jill Battson joins Wayne Strongman, Managing Artistic Director of Tapestry new opera works, and Roman Borys of the Gryphon Trio, along with other members of the artistic team, to discuss their new oratorio on the history of HIV-AIDS. Sunday, June 13: Two Faced Bastard

Artistic Director Gideon Obarzanek and other members of Australia's acclaimed contemporary dance company Chunky Move share insights into their production's exploration of duality in our society and the blending of performance and reality. (Click here to find out more about Two Faced Bastard.)

Monday, June 14: One Pure Longing

Performer and director Erika Batdorf speaks with producer Paul Shaw and designer Bretta Gerecke about her use of the "three-dimensional poetry" of words, music, and movement to tell the story of Persian poet and her relationship to the women's rights movement. Tuesday, June 15: Africadian Literature

Building on the Festival's East/West theme, join esteemed Canadian poet and playwright George Elliott Clarke for an exploration of literature and the African-Canadian communities of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Wednesday, June 16: Rights in the Arts

Luminato artists Erika Batdorf of One Pure Longing, Anthony Black of Homage, and magician David Ben discuss this year's Festival themes of artists' rights and intellectual property.

Thursday, June 17: Best Before

Helgard Haug and other members of Germany's Rimini Protokoll discuss their trademark "Reality Trend" theatre, exemplified by their use of audience participation to create a simulated setting that blurs the boundary between reality and fiction. (Click here to find out more about Best Before)

Friday, June 18: Homage

Christian Barry and Anthony Black, Artistic Directors of 2b theatre company, speak about their dramatic homage to advertising executive turned sculptor Haydn Davies, while Trevor Davies, Haydn's son, shares his thoughts about his father's legacy. (Click here to find out more about Homage)

Saturday, June 19: Wish Come True Festival
