A film festival within the Festival.
Luminato and the National Film Board of Canada present free film screenings of documentaries that follow the creation of Luminato presentations, films that inspired the festival programming, and supplementary work from Luminato artists. All films in The Luminato Reel will be preceded by the short film NFB 70 Years, a tribute to the NFB and its 70th anniversary.

The Genius of Lenny Breau
This feature-length documentary encompasses a story of one of the "true great geniuses of guitar", whose life ended abruptly and mysteriously in Los Angeles in 1984 at the age of 43, inspiring 5 O'Clock Bells (being presented June 10-13).
